Apr 2^nd 2012 : Calixto Systems, a Bangalore-based electronics product enablement company, today announced that its VERSA families of versatile, small form factor system on modules(SOM) have been extended to include support for Texas Instruments’ Sitara™ AM335x ARM® Cortex™-A8 based processors. This AM335x SOM will enable Calixto to provide a high performance, yet affordable platform for product development. Target applications for Calixto AM335x SOM include industrial automation, Smart Grid, remote terminals, healthcare, handheld point-of-service (POS) terminals and weighing scales. read more »

Jan 31^st 2012 : Telit Wireless Solutions enters into a strategic alliance with Calixto Systems.
Telit Wireless Solutions, a global leader in the field of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications, today announced that it has selected Calixto Systems Pvt. Ltd., a Bangalore- based leading embedded product realization company, as its India Competence Center. Calixto was chosen as the Telit Competence Center for India based on its expertise in designing GSM / GPRS / CDMA / GPS-based products and its proven capabilities in high-level system design, hardware design including PCB design, software and firmware development. read more »

Jan 14^th 2012 : Calixto systems announces availability of VERSA System on Module (SOM) for Texas Instruments Microprocessors AM1808,AM1802,OMAP-L138 and OMAP-L132. This SOM simplifies embedded hardware design by incorporating all complex processor circuitry in a small form factor board. The 200 PIN SODIMM Connector used in the design provide versatile connectivity options without adding much cost to the design. read more »

Aug 6^th 2011 : Calixto Systems announces availability of optimised SOM (SmartPlus) for Smart Grid, Protocol converters and Remote Monitoring/Control applicaitons using TI's AM18x /OMAP-L138 microprocessors. Calixto Systems also announces availability of Jorjin's WLAN/BT/FM and Application Processor (AP) Modules in India. AP modules are based on TI AM37X/ DM37x Processors.
